Mid cap companies are well positioned in the growth sweet-spot of the industry life cycle.
These companies are generally characterized by developed management teams, a diverse portfolio of products and services, growing addressable markets, and unconsolidated industry structures. Generally these companies exhibit higher revenue and earnings growth than their larger cap peers.
We manage portfolios of approximately 45-65 growing companies within a market capitalization range of between $1 billion and $13 billion at time of initial purchase. We sell names out of the portfolio above $15 billion in market cap regardless of whether it falls within the market cap range of the performance benchmark.
