Credo Capital Partners secures milestone investment from US based FinRebel

Credo Capital Partners is pleased to announce it has secured a milestone equity investment in the manager from FinRebel, a US based fintech investment fund led by Bruno del Ama. Bruno is a successful and experienced asset management and fintech entrepreneur and investor. He was the co-founder and CEO of Global X, a $30 billion asset manager that he sold to Mirae Asset.

Carlos-Adrián López, Co-Managing Partner of Credo states; “This investment is a key step in our evolution as we move from currently executing on our transaction pipeline to launching our new fund later this year. We are delighted to welcome Bruno onboard, bringing as he does such a successful track record in both the investment and the fintech market in both Europe and the US”.

Bruno del Ama, FinRebel, also comments; “There is a significant gap for SME and consumer lending fintechs in Europe to get access to balance sheet funding. I am glad to join the outstanding Credo partners to support the efforts to close this gap and help European fintechs scale and succeed”.

Following this investment Credo will continue to grow from its base in the Nordics and the UK, and will step-up its engagement with fintech firms across Europe. Credo leverages its proprietary technology and in-depth understanding of the market to provide funding to fintech lenders. By doing this in a simple and transparent manner we allow our partner fintechs to scale and exploit the huge opportunities which exist in Europe’s rapidly developing alternative lending market.
